設計通過對大運河常州段沿岸工業遺產建築的空間梳理，從建築與景觀結合的方法出發，挖掘工業遺產的歷史文化潛力，激活城市空間的公共性，打造結合歷史建築與當代景觀的城市公共空間，探索一種後工業城市“存量更新”背景下的設計方法與空間想象。
By rearticulating the industrial heritages along the Changzhou section of the Grand Canal, the design integrates design consideration of architecture and landscape and explores the historical and cultural potential of industrial heritage for contemporary cities. The goal is to activate the civic potential of these urban unclaves and to develop a design method and spatial imagination for post-industrial cities in China.
