漁村建構試驗四則
FOUR EXPERIMENTS ON FISHING VILLAGE TECTONICS
利用本地五金店現有的構件與「夜冷」店回收再用的物件設計製作的四件家具建造實驗。設計延續「水漾之家」團隊的研究，將香港漁村住宅的建構方法試驗到家具設計之中，打破我們對建築類型、建築尺度和建築功能的固有分類思維，從一種流動的「整體性」重新思考「以自然為家」的可能性。

Four pieces of furniture are designed and built with as-found materials from local hardware stores and recycled objects from “yellings” (secondhand exchange places) in Hong Kong. We continue our design research of Liquid Homes and experiment with the ad-hoc building techniques we discovered in Hong Kong fishing villages at the scale of the furniture. Strolling against our usual categorial thinking about architectural typology, scale, and function, the design explores the possibility to "make homes in nature" through a fluid sense of the architectural "whole".
